Update:The first 7/9 Connects mini-reunion was a big success! Cindy Carlson Beckham, Ellen Ryder, Peg Velie, Jill Sieveking, Ruth Watt Berger, and I met for brunch at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH on Sunday, June 14. The Museum’s Executive Director, Susan Strickler, joined us for brunch and informed us about developments at the Currier as well as sharing stories about the semester she spent at Wellesley as an exchange student from Mount Holyoke. We also enjoyed the Museum’s galleries and special exhibit of Audubon prints, and Cindy, Ellen, Peg and I toured the Frank Lloyd Wright home owned by the Currier. Most of all, we really enjoyed visiting with each other and were happy to find how easy it is to get together on a more local level. I think we all left thinking about how much we want to continue getting together as often as possible.
